This person must be able to communicate with a variety of different audiences and must have strong presentation skills. The ability to lead technical groups and handle critical customer issues is vital for this role.
- 10 to 12 years of experience working as a Security Lead / Consultant / Architect and delivering complex cybersecurity projects.
- Define non-functional requirements, including security, capacity, performance, cross-capacity and cross-release concerns
- Experience defining and maintaining a framework of Cloud Security patterns, blueprints, services, and guardrails to empower the business to innovate rapidly and safely in the cloud environment.
- Experience and expertise in defining different Security patterns, blueprints, services, and guardrails to embed security controls early into the delivery lifecycle.
- Design security patterns and reference architectures based on the risks to the business and opportunities available to the business and to improve investment.
- Develop and maintain processes and procedures associated with security consulting to ensure the security team can be effectively engaged and security delivery is structured and repeatable.
- Provide security architecture support throughout the project lifecycle - identifying security risks and requirements, producing security architecture, guidance on security control design and pattern selection, governance of security assurance activities and operational architecture.
- Provide governance of all solution architectures from an IT security and risk perspective and document all findings, including exemptions and supporting arguments.
- Closely work with the Enterprise Security Architect, the broader Enterprise Architecture framework and business objectives
- Provides security architecture and consulting services to customer's technology programs.
- Detailed knowledge of ISMS, NIST, ISO27K and APRA CPS
- Bachelor of Computer Science or Bachelor of Information Systems
- Experience in producing enterprise architecture artefacts and road maps.
- SABSA (Sherwood Applied Business Security Architecture) or TOGAF (The Open Group Architecture Framework) certifications
- Relevant Security certification would be highly regarded (e.g., Security+, CHEH, CISA, CISM, CISSP, OSCP, etc.)
